Kirumba Mining was founded in early 2021 by a team of African mining veterans and international finance experts who shared a common vision: to build a mining company that prioritizes people and planet alongside profit.
What started as a small exploration outfit in Kenya's Migori region has grown into a premier mineral trading and mining operation spanning two countries, with a workforce of over 2,450 people and operations across the DRC Copperbelt and East African gold corridors.
Today, Kirumba Mining stands as a testament to what responsible industrialism can achieve — delivering high-grade critical minerals to global markets while investing in communities and protecting the environment.

Kirumba Mining is established in the Democratic Republic of Congo, securing initial exploration licenses in the Katanga Copperbelt.
First Commercial Production
